Knitted Tube

I never thought “knitted tube” would be on my list of winter wardrobe staples, but I’m quickly discovering that it is both a warm and versatile option.

Cardigan, Energie (thrifted). Blouse, J Crew. Skirt, gift. Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, Rampage. Earrings, vintage. Owl pendant/brooch, thrifted.

Out of doors: Hat, Nine West. Scarf, Walgreen's. Coat, Guess. Bag, Nicole Lee. Boots, Matisse.

I’ve worn it at my natural waist (as a skirt), above the bust (as a dress), and just under the bust (as a high-waisted skirt).

How would you wear a knitted tube?

OK...that is really cool!! I like the print and all that you did with it!

All of the above! I'm leery of knitted tubes, however, because I wore one last time they were in fashion (back in about 1986). They have the potential to suck in just below the bum, giving one the dreaded "ice cream cone" silhouette!

You look awesome in this - nice bum! ;)

I like it most a regular skirt!

You look so cute today. You should be on that show "What not to wear" instead of the 2 people that are on there.

What a unique, fabulous piece! I'd probably generally wear it as a high-waisted skirt, but I like each option! It could also be worn as a super-bulky cowl. :-P

I like your knitted tube. I wouldn't have thought it would be that versatile. I would wear it at my waist, like a normal skirt. I would even try another skirt peeking out from it, or a slip giving it a lace edge.

Wow, every way you wore this looked good. I would have probably been boring and just wore it a skirt on my hips. Love the outfit today with the owl. I will be looking to replicate this look for myself :)

I love the detail of your skirt/dress. It looks the best as a skirt.

I like it as a high waisted skirt. I really like the length of it when worn at your natural waist! You do an awesome job looking like a million bucks everyday!!

what a crazy and wonderful garment. I think I'd wear it a little above my natural waistline, with an interesting belt at my natural waistline.

Yah, I'd most likely wear it as a skirt. That is one rockin' pattern. You just showed that whole outfit who's in charge. Nice!
